Paul Foster Biography




Paul Foster is a graduate of Leicester University and by profession a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner. Paul has worked for a number of local authorities including Westminster City Council where he was responsible for managing the regulation of some 5,500 pubs, restaurants and cafes in Central London. He is currently Head of Business Regulation for the London Borough of Croydon where his principal responsibilities are Environmental Health, Trading Standards and Licensing. Paul has a very keen interest in night time economies and for several years was the Chairman of Croydon Council’s multi-agency Night Time Economy Steering Group. During this time he was responsible for implementing a responsible management scheme for pubs and clubs and a sensible drinking/personal safety campaign aimed at late night revellers.
